View Full Version : Flooding in the Baton Rouge area

It all started just over three weeks ago on a Thursday night/Friday morning. In a matter of 60 hours, we received about 28 inches (60cm) of rain. I think they are saying 110,000 homes flooded in South Louisiana.

Really strong set showing the damage. First and last shots are strongest imo.
(Such crazy damage...so sorry).

Yes, incredible damage. The black and white shots are very effective in their starkness.

It is often difficult to convey the damage and sense of loss that you all must feel after a tragic event such as this. You have managed to that well in these shots.

From a photographic perspective I find the the first shot a little oversaturated to my eye.
