Very nice capture Kiley. You must be a proud mom. It looks like you have lots of windows in your kitchen by all the catch lights in her eyes.

cheers

thanks guys - yes, pretty proud! as usual, most of my shots i post are of my dogs or kids! lol... i cant wait till its nicer out to go photo hunting outdoors again! anyways, her mouth had some food on it, (remnants of lunch, and another sign of being 2) so it got a bit over smudged when i tried to clean it up in post, but besides that, i really like this shot. kinda just a snapshot that worked out.

Yes great shot. I like the lighting and the softness on the left. No posing here I guess. The only way to get a shot of my two and a half year old is when he is sleeping, or with a fast lens and sports mode. :D Trying to take "nice" portrait is an exercise in frustration.

antz - i totally agree, even with my fast dslr, 9 out of 10 shots of her are blurred! lol! close to everything with a 2.5 yr old is an exersize in frustration... hahaha!

Oh sure ... I'm going to ask my 21 and 22 yr old daughters if they mind if I take a shot of their butts to prove some quirky Nth American I used Super Glue to make them sit still!! http://www.mtbdirt.com.au/home/smf/Smileys/classic/biglaugha.gif

Ha ha! She's a cutie! They definatley can be a challenge to shoot! When I first got the manual lens I thought I was going to cry!!!

Does she mind the camera? Mine don't mind for about 10 mins then they get mad!!!
