This is a shot I took and had to crop and edit I just couldn't resist. Please give your honest opinion.2169

I like it.
I think if you are going to use selective colouring though you need to make the colour stand out a tad more.
Her right eye has a small white dot it that could be removed.
Apart from that I think it's a great shot.

Nice shot, agree with the comments on selective colouration; it works in this image, but needs just a little more 'punch' to really have an effect. As well, I think your lightin is off just a tad. I'd back off your key light probably 1/3 stop, and use a reflector image left to reduce the deep shadows on her right cheek by about the same amount. You've also got a very strong linear shadow running from the bridge of her nose over her right eye which is very distracting. Overall though, it's a nice image, with a great expression.
Just my $00.02 worth - your mileage may vary.

Well, for me this „light“ selective colouration works very well. It makes you look a second and third time, if you saw it right – more colour would look too unnatural. But I am an amateur only .

I agree the selective colouring needs a touch more, but not too much. It's a great shot.

It's a very nice image with or without the selective color.
