I took this shot which appeals to me this morning.

I had to burn the sky slightly.

It has a very fractal look to it. Nice

Pretty good shot MA. These, I find are hard to do well. What I see and what the camera captures are usually quite different. I tried taking shots of trees that had really gnarly branches and an umbrella like canopy with dappled light through the leaves. It was really cool to look at. However the photos were quite mundane. A wide angle lens may have helped perhaps but mainly its the two dimensions the camera records. I think I'll dig out one of the photos and post it for advice.

cheers

I like the laciness all the way down the picture. Cool shot!

Thanks all. I liked it having that sky as well as the perspective.

Well I'm always a sucker for a silhouette. Nice one. These sorts of shots are always a tough assignment.

MA, I see you have spotted this pic of mine along a similar line.

Which is actually an HDR image take with -2,0,+2 EV hand held.

these would make great window prints - you know, those sticky films you put over windows that let the light shine through, but gives you privacy? very neat!
