This particular bird is very well known on a long bridge we have near here. I think it's about 3 k's long from memory (bridge, not the bird) and is in a state of dis-repair. It's used for fishing and as a pedestrian/cycling path (again ... the bridge, not the bird!) and this bird is loved by the fishermen who feed it regularly.
They are a 'Stately' bird in my opinion.
