This is an image from my trip last year and it has already been posted, but I did a quick edit

i cant remember the original edit, but I really like the movement and the light streaming in. It works for me

Feels like a dream where the background is detailed but the target is hazy.

I dig it this time around as well - the dreamy movement works for me big time.

The sun rays are fake, added in with PS. It would have looked like this if smoking was still permitted in NYC. I remember seeing an old image shot from the same spot with the sun rays coming in from the left. I wanted to recreate the image but there were no sun rays.

Hilarious. Maybe you were watching this Matt Kloskowski tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3brfb3Ta3aA for the inspiration. Still, it's a very nice image.

The Sunday’s are fake, added in with PS.

I think you did a good job. They look great.

Do you have a link to the original edit, or can you include it here so we can see the difference.

Thanks for the share. It is effective and natural looking. I will be going home tonight to find an image it may suit and have a try myself

The hardest thing is having a good light source. Like I said earlier, I had all intentions of taking this photo with the light rays, but because the air was so clean, there were none.

Well done AT. I really like your addition of the sun rays.
It hilarious ... we all want to have cleaner air. Now that we have it, it causes us photographers problems in getting the sun rays.

If I had one (very minor) niggle. The pic doesn't look quite level. I'd work on the geometry to try and level it out.

love the tonal range and the ghosts giving it a sense of passing time
