Is your community shut down yet? We are pretty much closed in down here in Louisiana. I’m looking at being locked in at work for a month. My youngest already has cabin fever, but my oldest hasn’t come out of her room except to eat. She is living via FaceTime, etc.

People encouraged to stay home here. Daycares, schools- closed. Lottsa government offices closed. Restaurants I think it's take-out only...things changing day by day.
Our border is closed. Some stores are open...

Bout time they closed the US/Canada border!!! Y’all come over here and take the 6 figure jobs.

Good news, my 24-70 2.8mm finally came back from the shop, but it came from California, so I’m waiting a week before opening it.

Good question which is very hard to answer. Hard to know where we really stand and what's going to happen. All the pleasures in life have been taken away. Even hockey. Leaving me with photography to keep me a little bit occupied. Shooting film and then developing, scanning and processing take up a lot of time. It's bliss and a great distraction. I posted a few shots in the assignment, and will post a few more in the B+W threads later today. Also, thank goodness for Netflix. Take care.

Much the same here. With similar infection rates to Canada, we are a few days or a week behind some other places in the world . Our borders are closed to all non residents and gatherings of people are restricted to low numbers, meaning most entertainment options have been cancelled. Hoarding from supermarkets is a major issue. We have discovered how dependent we are upon fragile supply chains. Having my own business is it expensive trying to retain staff in the environment of falling or cancelled orders.

Without Hockey, MBrager I have a suggestion for you. Our AFL competition is going ahead (for the time being) albeit with modified rules and empty stadiums. Not being able to attend is a challenge for me and my family as we normally attend all home games and also travel to some away games.

It is available on North American TV https://www.afana.com/tvinfo
A primer on the rules is here (otherwise it will make no sense to you ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMZYZcoAcU0

We are certainly living in challenging and unpredictable times.

Stay safe folks

Too late I am afraid. The AFL season is now suspended. We have now also closed state borders and in most of Australia everything is shut down except essential services.

Well, thanks anyway. Story of our lives in the past 2-3 weeks. We live in an area where I can go for a walk outside without encountering anyone except a few dog owners. Food supply not a huge problem so far. We are slowly stocking our freezer. Which occupies my wife in cooking. Doing Zoom virtual meetings. And avoiding reading the news.

I sit at home all day and the situation with COVID will either improve or rise sharply to a peak. To be honest, this is already a little tired. One thing that saves me is that you can get distracted by playing video games and trying my luck in the casino https://casinocanada.com/slots/real-money-slots/ , I was even lucky several times and I won. But I do not often practice such games, although it is very addictive)

Not much has changed here. I live in a small city in a rural area so getting out is not an issue.
Sadly I haven't been able to visit my children or grand kids in a long time. And no end in sight.
