Are you going to send me back to do it over? I don't mind if you do, really I don't.

I like it. I think I would have preferred to see a little more above the atch, but its a nice shot none the less. Good job.

Thanks, all. I got it early this morning. I had almost the same shot yesterday and came close to posting it then, but I saw something I wanted to do differently.
The bridge photographs in a strange way. The side that seldom sees direct sunlight has this funny blue tint in the mornings. The other side is in direct sunlight most of the day, and has the normal look of concrete. I suspect, but have never inquired, that both sides were a little blue in color when the bridge was new in 1928.
Actually there’s very little pp in this image. A modest crop, typical curve adjustment, slight boost in saturation, and just a wee bit of sharpening. I would like to have gone above the arch myself, but that would have exposed the unsightly drain lines that run the entire length of the structure.
I’m more than willing to go back and give it another shot.:D To tell the truth, I have more images of this bridge than anything else I’ve shot. It and the Adluh Flour Mill are the most photographed locations in Columbia. In fact, I even ran into this fellow doing it the REAL old fashion way.
