I have a friend(Brittany) who is in interior design. Another friend Jordan is building a new house and Brittany is decorating it. She asked me to take some shots of some lighting fixtures. She is going to use some of my work to put in his house, so I thought I would please here. These were from last night, but Ill be taking a few more tonight. She probably is not going to use these photos. These are just for her pleasure since it is what she wanted to see.

I like the second (B&W) one the best. Although, I do think that there's a bit too much black on top.

I quite like your thinking on these JJ. The reflection showing the bulb in #1 ... the simplicity and contrast of #2 ... and the nthe pattern versus the lines in #3.
None of these were just shots ... they all had a fair bit of thinking behind them before they were chosen.

Thanks MA. That is the reason I like this kind of work. Many times we can just 'snap' a picture. It is how I feel about the golf thing. Those to me are just snaps, with a little knowledge behind how to make them 'professional.' But to think about an ordinary subject and planhow you can emphasize certain characteristics of them is a different ball game.
I personally like these shots. Like I said, it was a request from a friend and I looked at it as an assignment. Ill try and improve these when I get around to it, but I didnt think they were too bad for the first time around on them.
