I must say - you have my curiosity piqued with this one, Dwayne! Not sure that i like the soft water with the squiggles. To me, the 2 elements fight one another.
Hope that helps!
What an appropriate title :) I like it; it's intriguing.

Interesting shot. I just spent the last couple of minutes trying to decipher this one without much luck.
It's a 1/2 sec exposure, water, and some sort of brightness/light floating I think? The water looks too sharp for the streaks to be on the water but then the streaks look too sharp for them to be floating also. If they were lights in the sky then the movement of the camera could create this I guess but they go in different directions suggesting they are floating on the water and following the current.
See how confused I am? http://www.mtbdirt.com.au/home/smf/Smileys/classic/searchme.gif http://www.mtbdirt.com.au/home/smf/Smileys/classic/hmm.gif http://www.mtbdirt.com.au/home/smf/Smileys/classic/stupid.gif http://www.mtbdirt.com.au/home/smf/Smileys/classic/crazy.gif

As an abastract, I rather like it. At first glance it seems to me like a flock of birds circling over the ocean, as viewed from a long way above.

I like this. The bubbles on top of the water indicate there is some sort of disturbance in the water upstream. Whether they are rocks, rapids, or a small waterfall. The long exposure creates the streaking of the bubbles as they reflect the light from above. The water absorbes the light creating a great contrast between the water and the floating bubbles. The timing of the shot is just enough that the water itself isnt completely soft, yet the movement of the bubbles are still captured. Great shot IMO.

I'm still amazed the bubbles streaks came out so sharp though.
