Its a nice image. It lacks that extra something that I cant quite figure out. Although I like it, im not sure its a showpiece. More or less one of the shots that capture that moment really well, but just dont quite make it past that point. Maybe if you were to exaggerate the mist in PP. Darken the shrubs in the background and lighten up the mist to get a better contrast? I like it, but figured Id try and throw a few words in.

Great how you've catched the "smoke". Only there is too much wood in the foreground I guess - my eyes are distracted from it.

I can see why you are saying this as well.
Its really a shot to continue working on if its a continual occurrence there....
Did you think about just shooting it straight on instead of at an angle?

Seriously, a neat capture, but I'm afraid it doesn't do too much for me. The heat/smoke curls are interesting, but not strong enough to hold the image on their own.
