I’ve been a full time photographer for about 3 years now and I don’t have a website. I don’t know anything about building one myself and I don’t have a lot to spend on a custom designed website portfolio.

I do know I want my own domain and I’m pretty picky with the look and feel, I really don’t like those template websites.

Does anyone have any suggestions for an online galleries that might be right for me?

Hmmm this might be tricky then. There are plenty of online galleries but they won't use YOUR domain name, they will use theirs.

If you know Zero HTML you will need help to set up your own domain name and gallery. In my opinion the easiest thing might be a blog. Wordpress.org offers free blogs that are AMAZING. There are hosting companies that make the wordpress installation simple. I do believe one of those companies is dreamhost.com...that might be the easiest for you to do alone.

Hope that helped...feel free to ask more and if I can help I will.

I'd go with Wordpress or Pixelpost. Pixel post might be a little more effort to figure out, but its build to be a Photography BLOG. I'd also be happy to offer some advice as I build, and optimize websites for the Search Engines at work. Cheers.

Dont count out building your own website, its easier than you might think to use a builder theres heaps of them out there. use cubender, i used that one. it would solve your dilemma over being able to use your own domain and you can pretty much set up galleries however you want.
