I know that many use logos to promote themselves and their work as well some to avoid photo theft.

I know that I can't avoid the theft and to use the lowest of everything. Most times I don't mind logos, unless they are awful.

I've started a website (wow..long process that is) and I would like to keep everything tied together. So the type font is the same.

I want to know when you see this image is it too much, too little or fine.

Thankyou

Oh..just reviewd the post, I just got the new monitor and now realize how small a 600 photo size is.. sorry next photo I put up to critique I'll make bigger!

I guess it depends on your display purposes. At 600 (as you say) it's too small to be read properly so it's in effective in most ways. I think it would look ok as is at a larger res.

I like it. It's tasteful, and not too big, and not too small.. Definitely better than many I've seen that take up a quarter of the image... :)

The only thing I would say to try is perhaps add a little more white space at the bottom to let the logo breathe a bit (it's quite close to the edges).

Definatley too small with this size amount. I can't barely see it either MA. It's funny though, I only realized last night that the size of your monitor affects how you see things on the internet. I know..silly but now known..

Thanks Ben! I'm gonna keep playing with it till I can get it! I was thinking that too after having too much space and even lesser space!

Looks like the font I use on my concert photography website, and thinking of carrying it to my other site, looks nice and tastefully done. If your planning on putting your images online and charging anything close to what I do you might want to look into paying for Digimarc (https://www.digimarc.com/). And what I use in shows I do not post online, just some convoluted system I have for protecting my images and my image.

Thanks AcadieLibre. That is one think I had on my list to look into but you've helped big time with that! I never really knew how much work this was going to be but I really do think it will payoff. Even for just me! :)

If you don't mind sharing I'd love to see your concert site! I can't imagine how cool that would be to do that!
