Tonight was my brothers Jazz concert/recital. For those who know jazz, the program at the University is pretty much based around John Hendricks. He is a familiar face and is one of the best known people in jazz. The ceiling cracked in the auditorium where they were supposed so the moved it into a small practice room. The music was played by the students, but in standard form, Hendricks always does a song by himself to give the program credibility. Changing the room killed the scene for any images that could be taken of the musicians, so I started to focus on the audience. It was an way for many students to earn extra credit for showing up and it showed.
The picture of the room is not for any image quality but for purpose of giving you an idea of how the seating arrangements were handled and what the atmosphere was like.
