The middle worries me a little as well. Not sure what it costs to get things printed up there, or how difficult it is, but if I worry about something in an image, I like to get a smaller print made first before I spend the money on a large print. If there is a problem with the smaller print, it will only be exaggerated in the larger print. Adds to the cost of an enlargement a little bit, but it is a great way to take away some reservations that you might be having.

It's only going to 8x10. The cost of 4x6 is .39/photo her in town so I usually do a big shop when I get to a bigger city. I don't think it's gonna be good at 8x10 but for 2 bucks..thought I'd try it.

Now I did get a 20x16 of this one..I thought with all its detail that I'll get a pretty good feeling if I can go that big or not.. ha ha.

$2 for an 8x10?!?!?! It is $5 a print for something of that size here, and even more at some other places. If it were that cheap here, I think I would be printing nearly everything I had or thought was good. Nothing quite like seeing your best work on high quality prints. Hope you enjoy it!

$1.39 at Costco for an 8x10 in Canada. Regular price at the local drug store is only $3.99 so I end up printing quite a few of them. $25.00 for the 20x32... waiting for a great shot to print one of those.

Yah..the 16x20 costs me 24$ at a local camera store, I didn't want to go through walmart..my only other choice. Hopefully it comes out good..have to cross my fingers till I get it next week! Oh the joys of living up north..ha ha!

Thanks MA. It looks good in color too - going to make it a set, sepia, b&w and then color. There is this this shot and another similiar but with a different tree..so 6 shots all together and two sets. It's fun to see them coming to life! :highfive:

I agree with Ya'll. The sepia shot is a much stronger image - well done!

YIKES!! Are these lab corrected prints, or just prints, becuase here (In town where I work) on Tuesday and Thursday our local place is $5.00 for 50 4X6's

Now I do have to say that I live 60 miles outside of the city and where I live (Not work - Population 800), if I went in and asked for reprints, they would probably tell me you can't make additional prints from Tin Types.. (They are a bit behind the times here)

No. No lab in town here. Lets put it this way..there isn't a McDonalds, Tim Hortons, heck, I don't even have a mall. The one pharmacy here has one of those instant machines and you can get your 4x6's there.

All my photos I have to either get at Walmart or at the Fotosource in the nearest town 2.5 hours away.

Needless to say, soon as we can get some money saved we are looking into getting a really good printer :)

I am in the same boat. We have a small grocery store and 9 bars. Thats it.. So we also have to either get prints online, print them ourselves or take them to the BIG CITY to have them printed.

Small towns can have it's purks but lots of downsides too! If anything..I wish I could talk Tim Hortons to come up here..lol :D

Hey ... it's not our fault you choose to live in One Horse Poopsville, Ontario where the Caribou are afraid to go http://www.mtbdirt.com.au/home/smf/Smileys/classic/biglaugha.gif

Hey Kat ... did you hear? They have colour TV in the big smoke now! ;)
