First images - Jake

Ok, So these are the first photos I took with my DSLR. His name is Jake, and he is just over a year old.

Comments are welcome, I could use some advice.

Love the details in the feathers in the last photo. He is a pretty bird.

Very cute bird - nice colours.

2 tips straight up would be to focus on the eyes and use a fast shutter speed (I would suggest not slower than 1/250 as these birds have fast jerky movements)
