In a way I like it because it makes me ask 'why', you're left wondering what is the story that puts the rose in a glass of Perrrier.

Just the crop looks off, where are the Perrier bubbles?

First - I like the rose and all the sharp details to see. Also the background fits well. But... (what else ;-))... maybe you should have taken a bigger bowl. In this way the blossom lost the best of it's form.

I guess for me IMO the bright blue background distracts from the subject and I'm not really crazy about the crop...the rose is nice and I like the idea however. What about a different glass?
Not that I'm any kind of expert Raiven but you asked so I thought I would throw in my $0.02
I think it's the crop and (maybe) the angle that bothers me.

I agree with this. For me though..the big thing it the background color..it doesn't seem to fit.
