To answer the question you're probably asking yourself right about now, I have no idea why I posted this.

LOL! (I logged in just to say that!)

I actually think the picture's kinda cool. It sort of looks like an eye to me :)

The colour contrasts are pretty neat also.

I KNOW why you posted it. Because you thought it was a cool looking shot...you liked the colours, patterns and curves. I like it too for the same reasons.;)

Well…yeah…maybe. The colors and textures are kinda cool. There was no saturation in post. Actually, it was something I got on the side while shooting another more interesting subject that I was unable to do justice. When I open this image, I can’t seem to just close it right away without spending a moment to wade through it.

I think that maybe I posted it to help myself feel that I’m not stuck in a groove that will have others believe that no matter how many images I put up, they all look the same or that I really don’t want others to feel they know what to expect from me before they open the thread.

I’ve been a little more critical of my stuff lately. So much so, that I’m really not sure if I’m getting anything that warrants sharing. Gotta get out of this rut, somehow. :wall-an:

Anyway, thanks to all for the positive comments.

Do photographers get writer's block?

Gosh, I feel like that pretty much most of the time....!

I guess photographers must get their own version of writer's block also.
I think the stuff you shoot is awesome! I know you don't right now, but in time you will pull through!
Hang in there! :highfive:

Maybe it goes deeper than that though, Casil. Getting beyond the technicalities is one thing. If I can manage that and have them say something at the same time, then I’ll be happy. I’m tired of ending up with nothing but poor attempts at post cards.
