Welcome to ph.ca bwerd (be weird?? :) )

Your question is similar to asking 'How long is a piece of string?'

To help you we'd need to know more parameters such as your budget and intended use. No use us reccomending Canons ultimate camera and lenses if your budget is limited like most of us when we first get into this.

Best to ask this question again in the Camera Equipment & Accessories section of the forum though rather than here :)

Hi! Welcome to the forum! What part of the Yukon are you at? You have great territory to be taking photos!!!!!

Mad Aussie is right. You have to really sit there and think what you want from a camera, what you want to do with it and go from there. I highly recommend doing some research, going into a good camera shop (if you aren't in the middle of nowhere) and ask millions of questions.

Welcome to the forum! You say you already upgraded. To what did you upgrade? That is, what are you shooting with now?

i didn't realize i was signing up for smart comments as well as looking for info on a new camera.

ohh yeah and by the way i am in the middle of nowhere working in a camp so all i have for a resource is the internet. i was just looking for some help, so nevermind i'll find what i need to know on my own instead of asking people who know something about cameras.

 Are you referring to what I said?

If so, let me explain ...

I asked about 'be weird' because I figured that might be what your username meant. It's common for people to use such spelling to allude to something amusing. But, not being sure ... I asked. No harm in that I'd have thought.

As for the rest ... I was dead serious. A) We need more info in order to help you properly and B) This is a forum for saying 'Hi I'm new here' ... not asking technical questions which is I why I politely suggested which forum you were better off using.

If you've found any of that offensive then I'm sorry, it wasn't my intention. I would, however, suggest that you realise in a forum it is very, very, VERY easy to misunderstand someone's tone or even their meaning and end up with one's knickers in a knot over nothing.
