Absolutely love this shot. The composition is great! The only thing I'd change, if I could, would be a slightly larger depth of field. Have the bottom buds blurry is a bit distracting to me.
Beautiful capture!

If you find any place in Calgary that is covered in blossoms please let me know I'd love to try and do a panoramic shot of it. I'm keeping my eyes open

I agree with Iggy on this one on all counts, and like him, I really dig this shot!
Exif data shows iso 100 f8 1/125 so there was indeed plenty of room to move around to let's say iso 400 F-16 1/125
Thx - Marko

Scorpio,
This is Casil's critique thread.
I'm sure this was just an oversight so no harm at all but Please post these again in a new thread.
many thx

I like the composition here very much, along with the 'woody' colours throughout. It would be stronger if the front flower was in better focus I think.

Hey...thanks everyone for the great feedback!
Funny I thought at ISO 400 would make it seem a bit noisy? I've never tried anything like that before! Thanks Marko...will give it a go and play more w/ ISO and the other two parts of the "holy trinity"!
Greg, if I see anything, you'll be the first to know...these were taken on 13th Ave. SW right by the Memorial Park Library if interested!
:thankyou: again!
