Hey everyone,

I've recently taken up photography after inheriting an old Nikon FM from my father. Loved it, thus decided to buy a DSLR and have been having fun ever since. (I'm basically a 1 week old photographer, not even. =D)

I'm a teen, I live in Quebec.. which sucks for photographers due to the silly laws.. anyways.

Here are a few of my most recent shots, let me know what you think. ^^:

Hi Karl and welcome, you will find lots of knowledgeable people here. One more thing don't add more than one or two photos per thread, some people don't have very fast internet and some computers are not the best either. So be courteous and leave it at one or two. And read the rules about photo sizes that are acceptable here, you may have just bringing it up. I would comment on the photos but too many, prefer to deal with one at a time.

Welcome Karl! Yup one or two shots per thread is best.

The images you have posted are way too large though. Each photo is 1+meg x 6 photos is 6+ megs. Even though they are hosted elsewhere, it makes the page load time excessively long

100k to 200k per photo is plenty. You'll need software to resize. Photoshop, or gimp (free) are great choices for this task.

I absolutely realize that you are new tho, so I'm just pointing out these basics.

I too like shot 2 the best based on its vibrant colour.

Welcome again!
Marko
