Nice shot. I have been shooting dragonflies lately as well. Here are a couple of recent shots.

Excellent shots. What lens and auxiliary equipment did you use?

The first shot was 1/30th at F11 and the second was 1/30th at F4.5. Used a Rebel XT on a monopod with a Canon 100mm 2.8 Macro Lens. Also for the first shot, I used a Canon Speedlite 430ex flash with a fairly large 8x10" home made softbox that fits on the end of the flash. It's a bit bulky but it works well. No flash on the second shot.

WOW, wicked shots tegan and daronj!!!!!

Going to save a few pennies and I think my next new toy will be a macro lens.
