I don't know what these flowers are, but they were so spectacular today, that I had to stop the car take some pics.

They are certainly daisy like, but they were growing on large bush/tree. The daisies I know are "regular" flowers.

Here in SA we have a Golden daisy bush which looks similar to that flower and also grows in bushes. Not sure if you guys got the same type of daisies in AUS, if you plant them together you have here in the summer these lovely bushes full of daisies. I like your 3rd picture with the bright blue sky in it.

Looks to me like possibly a false sunflower...we have those here and they look very similar. They tend to bloom late summer early fall up here. very pretty and they grow like weeds!
Lovely captures whatever they are..... :)

I think you are right. The best I can work out it is an "Euryops" a member of the Daisy family native to Sth Africa.

I like the yellow/blue contrast and the frame you've taken.

Thanks guys!:thankyou:

I shot these within 1km of houses that had been flooded on the previous day, where 100s of cars were ruined(mine was almost one). Their bright yellow and the clouldless blue sky diguised the horrible weather less than 24hrs before.
