I like this one. The moment was perfectly timed. There’s just enough detail in those shadows to make the area interesting and I really like the “old lady” type of stockings and hat she’s wearing. I think what I like most is her shadow.

Too bad about the remnants of CA around her jacket, but it’s still an image that says something to the viewer. Thanks for sharing.

I’m usually not one to make suggestions in regards to anyone else’s images, but I put a copy of this one on my desktop and played with a few cropping options. Since you have the full file, I wonder if you might crop it from just to the left of her dress a little all the way over to the right side of the frame and just below the banner that can be seen from its side in front of her. That leaves only the bottom of the image with some of the dress and her shoes and shadow. It seems much more powerful to me, and I’d love to see it in more detail than I get from the copy I saved to my desktop.

Also, even though it makes her more centered, it looks nice when cropped in the same fashion, only beginning at the point where the brightness of the brick meets the shadow forming a triangle.

Would you do that for us? It's still easy to see that it's an older lady when its done, and I’d really like to see it.

I like this shot but I'm finding the whole shadowed area just a bit too dark.

Actually, jlabel, these were the two options I was thinking of. Don't worry about it, though. It was just a thought.

oh right quite interesting crop, specially the second one. nice touch, tho I don not think I would do myself because I am not much into cropping people off =]
Interesting graphic forms.
