Here's an image I took today of a droplet falling off a patterned rock face, let me know what you think!?

Interesting shot.

Firstly though ... water falls straight down unless influenced by something like wind. So, like an horizon of water, it needs to be plumb. In this case ... falling straight down 90 degrees to the horizon. I'd rotate this to make that right.

Did you crop this Chantelle? If so, I'd have had the droplet much higher in the frame leaving room for it to fall and us to see where it's heading.

Cool shot though and nice focus on a small subject.

Ok I re-cropped it, I couldn't crop it any lower than this, once I turned it there wasn't much space below to crop it.

Ah Scottie the warp field has been removed and gravity once again flows as it should :clown: I like the second shot better.

The second shot is much better. Perhaps a teeny burn on the highlit rock from the middle to the right edge might improve it even more.

Do you mean the rocks up the top or the lighter rock that are blurred below the droplet?

MA always has something to pick on with my images :P I didn't even think about the angle the droplet was on, so he picked that out well. I really like the second image better also.

Yep, that's much better all around now. We can still see the rock texture (more would have been nice) and we can see where the droplet is going now ... active space.
