Playing around again. Gonna try different styles in photoshop. Any suggestions? Wanted this to have that childlike feeling to it but find this (Orton) a tad bit..lets say..bright. Or amybe that is just me. :headslap:

It's a bit heavy on the Orton effect but i still like it. It has a childlike fantasy feel. Maybe use a layer mask to back off the Orton slightly.

For me the dark linear shadows at top left and mid right are the bigtime distractions, they are taking away from the 'fantasy' and is the first thing I would try to fix. Hope that helps - Marko

Thank! Not to sure how to get rid of the shadows. Or the mask..lol. I think we'll start from scratch and less orton and fix shadow first! Maybe a reshoot if I can..this time not midday :P

I agree with Marko that the Orton may be over done. I do like it how it is,but I would also try adding some selective sharpness too it.

I assume that would be done by using the mask? I'll have to do some reading and youtubing and figure it out :)

Does this help at all with her being "normal" and the rest Orton?

Ha ha.. I figured it out! :p

beautiful dreamy effect! except for the dark "line" on the top left that extends to her head, which can be corrected in post processing. i don't mind the heavy orton effect because it adds to the dreamy effect. your use of subdued color is very effective. maybe you could blur the cyan shadows on the shirt a little to blend it more with the shirt.

That's a great dreamy picture - I like it very much. I guess I should also try working more with layers and masking!
