Just finished processing a couple of shots for a client I thought I'd show.

The client is a local bike frame and parts importer and he and several of his sponsored riders were at the Mt Perry MTB race we photographed 2 weeks ago.
The client asked me to get some photos that showed the Niner branded frames for him. I sold him about 8 photos from the race and then a few similar to these ones below which are cropped versions treated to show the frame as a highlight.

I like both shots very well. Did you worked them over with some effects and the last one with de-saturation?

Yes both shots have been treated to make the bike frame stand out for the client. It's a mixture of desaturation, blur, and sharpening.

Nice ones MA. You have drawn focus to the bikes nicely.

I wouldn't mind one of these for Insomnia on the weekend..I'm not not looking forward to putting my brand new drivetrain though a mudfest.:wall-an:
You're shooting it, right?

Yeh we are ... if this rain settles a bit otherwise maybe not. But we are the official photographers for the event again.
If it's pissing down then I won't bother. The effort will not be worth the income.

You could rock up, find the best spot close to the start finish, shoot for an hour then go home. Repeat Sunday.

The rain is supposed to stop by the weekend, which should work for you. I fear we have had too much rain already for there to be no mud for us:(

Well living close to this track will make it easy for us to shoot out and get a few shots. We'll see how it goes.
