Okay, the theme is "Nature in the backyard". I figure these images suit that to a 'T', but I'd like input on which one and also ANYTHING that can be done to improve them. Thanks!

For me, #2 is the winner and I wouldn't change a thing except to maybe darken it up a smidge... seems a little bright on my screen.

IMO, no.3 is beautifully done.
Nice DoF, detail, composition.

Well done !

My vote goes to shot 1 ... I believe this one most clearly shows that the fawn(s) are indeed in a backyard because if we strain and use our imagination we can tell there's a house back there as well. The bokeh is such that it seems to accomplish that for me yet does not take away from the beautiful image of the two fawns huddling together.

Great images by the way man!!

The only improvements I can see in shot 1 is that white spot in the right of the dark tree, and I think it's over sharpened a bit. I'd leave that sharpening on the face/eyes but I'd soften the fur elsewhere. Little fawns are supposed to be nice and soft afterall right? ;)

My favourite shot overall is #2 but MA is right imo, shot 1 best fits the theme and is a very strong image. Nice set!

I'm not changing my opinion, I still like #2 the best shot since the eyes are open and he's looking right into the camera. MA is right that #1 does fit the theme a little more since you kinda get the feeling that there are steps in the background and hence a house. I just find #2 grabs me a little bit more. Probably because it looks like a shot out of Bambi.

Thanks for all the input Guys; right now, I'm torn between #1 and #4. I like #4 simply because the pose is so 'un-deer' like.

But #4 could be taken in different places, there's no real hint of 'backyard' except for mowed grass. Number 1 clearly suggests a backyard setting.

Yup..shot #2 but everyone is right..#1 fits the "backyard" theme better. Too darn cute!!!

I like them all but LOVE number 3 because it has the sense of motion in it. she looks like she's tip-toeing across the lawn.

and my vote should carry more weight, right??? :evil2:;);)
