I got some scans back today, okay 276 scans, and these two jumped out at me. What could I have done differently? Any help is appreciated, thanks, Kurt

HOLY SMOKES! I'd start by resizing them down to about 800 pixels on their longest side so we can actually view them :)

Until you do ... people can click this and their browser will hopefully display them at a size they can see easier.

I like the shot with the the angle that allows me to see the dude sitting against the building watching the couple best I think.

It's a candid street shot so I guess there's not a lot you do differently here as it's a moment caught in time and you are restricted to being on the footpath really.

Yah..I think resizing would help me to see it :)

So I put up thumbnails instead, how do I resize them? Can that be done in Vbulletin? Or in the html? Or would that require an editor? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks, Kurt

Resizing should be done in photoshop, gimp, irfanview or any other graphics program. Please keep the shots under 250 k per shot or the forum software will compress them and they won't look their greatest.

I like shot 2 here. It's a very casual street shot but i like it anyway. The shot has a bluish cast on my monitor.

hope that helps

Thank you, Marko, what you're suggesting is that I should resize it and then upload it to the server, rather than embed it from imageshack?

That's what I'm suggesting but it's up to you.

If you do upload from imageshack/photobucket/flickr just make sure your link shows the image at a good size. 800 pixels in width is a good size....

thx - Marko

Thanks Marko, I figured it out I can do it from imageshack, just takes different html code. They provide it, you just have to use the right one.
