I recently gat a Sigma 150 – 500 mm lens and a mono pod and went to try them out in Fish Creek Park by the Bow River. I followed an adult Kestrel to a stand of Cottonwood trees and found this little guy. After 20 minutes or so he decided to fly to another branch. Despite the impressive approach he nearly blew the landing. More images on my Flickr page link below
