I've been after one of these dragons for a while now..they seem a bit more skittish than the other colours. I think it's also a later season variety.
Anyways...finally caught one yesterday! :highfive:

These days I've been seeing them at Fish Creek park, but also mostly around the wetlands and fields in Calgary. I've developed a bit of a system for catching them this summer and it seems to be working! :)

Indeed. This is a great "expose" on the dragonfly life! Wonderful captures!
