This is a buddy of mine, the only available light was a sixty watt lamp two feet to his left. ISO 6400 seemed to be the way to go. shot at 1/40th sec

Thanks MA, that's what I thought and it was just a snap shot taken after six rum and cokes :D

THe secret is- close one eye aned you are good! Seems like that Nikon handles the high ISO pretty darned good!
