I didn't see anyone from Photography.ca in Fish Creek Park today but I did see this terrible sign summer is over.

MA this is frost. You Auzzies would normally only see it on the beer glasses you chill in the freezer. We find it outside in the morning about 9 months of the year in Calgary.

So someone spilled beer on the grass then?

A couple of weeks ago ... two weeks before winter was over and spring began ... we had several 37 degree days here. That's even unusual for us!

We do get frost in my area ... occassionally ... and even ice on your car if you leave it in a shaded spot and get up early enough to see it. But I'm in tropical Queensland ... talk to some Tasmanians (I have designs on moving there one day and a short holiday is next on the list of my travels) it gets quite cold down there with regular snow falls in some areas. That's for me! Temperate weather and a short period of snow falls I can drive to but also leave when I go home!

Just thinking about it ... I don't think I remember a single frost in our yard this winter.

Wind briefs are for when a man is out running or bike riding and it is very, very cold out! They have a plastic outer lining on the front that protects the boys from frostbite!
One of my dear friends who does Ironman triathlons didn't wear them once when he was out training in extremely cold winter weather and got frostbite on the jewels!
Said it was intensely painful! But everything apparently thawed out and was okay (I'm taking his word on this) and didn't turn black and fall off like parts have been known to when one gets bad frostbite!

Welcome to Winter in Canada MA!
