Fantastic IG. What did you use?

Thanks!

There's an Orton plug-in for GIMP. You just give it a couple of parameters and sit back and watch. Don't like it, revert back to the original and change the parameters. Pretty easy, really. It's the original shot that's tricky ;)

Cool. I have one for the gimp. Sound like the same one. Your image is one that is perfect for Orton. I have used as a subtle effect on a few images, but none that really worked like this.

I which someone would do one for lightroom.

Great scene you've there. Is there a Orton-plug for PS7 to get too? Actually I've to do several steps to get similar results.

Thanks again.

The photo was taken very close to here: http://maps.google.ca/?ie=UTF8&ll=44.761209,-64.132218&spn=0.009004,0.01929&t=h&z=16 I can't say 100% as I am going a bit by memory. I know it's the right lake but I'm not 100% sure it's the right stream off the lake.

With respect to the GIMP plugin, this one was a "Script-fu script". File extension is a .SCM. Download the script from the link earlier in the thread and then save it into your C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\scripts\ folder with the other .SCM files. Restart GIMP and you should see a new menu with the new script available. Let me know if this doesn't describe it well enough and I can whip up a little video to show you.
