I am totally new to this whole site and photography. I don't have fancy camera's like you all do. But I do dream about having my own studio and business. I own a Kodak Z650 I really do love it.
I was wondering what part of the forum I go to to post my pics and get advice

General photography and Digital Photography to get general advice as in technique and camera use as well as composition: the artistic elements.
Alternative Photography is for the really creative work such as solarizations, mixing 3D scene creation and photography, or perhaps very photoshopped works. Critique is for a very detailed and specific evaluation of your work. That forum is more for those who have the basics covered and want to learn more of the fine points. However be prepared to be told in detail what you may have done wrong, so if you are the defensive and emotional type, that may be the wrong forum to start out in.

Hope this helps, and I am sure Marko will clarify anything that I have missed.

I think I have some of the basics down and really want pointers. I have a digital camera. So where would I go to?

Start with General or Digital Photography and test the reaction.
