Day at the races

Visited the local race track the other day and had some fun wagering bets and capturing the action on the track. Even though I lost money, I felt I was a winner with some of the shots I got.

Just curious...I haven't been to the track in about 15 years.

Not sure about the etiquette there but are you allowed to use flash?

Using a flash is a definite no no! Security would bounce you right out the door. These horses are pretty high strung. I have a friend that works for the track that got me in some areas where the public aren't allowed which gave me a pretty good vantage point to take some of these shots.

Buuuhu - it's still a dream from me to find here someone visiting a race. But they are all so not hores lovers :-(.
