No following of the thirds rule, nothing really special about it but thought it may be a good one to pick apart :)

I like it, the embossed look of it works for me and there is an s curve if you connect the the leaves weaving from top to bottom and back up.
When I started photography I thought the rule of thirds meant 1/3 of your shots are good now I've learnt that ratio is wrong :headslap:

It's an interesting treatment, but IMO it calls attention to itself. This image looks less photographic to me and more like (borderline) graphic design or mixed media. Just my:twocents:

Hmm..all that was done was unsharp mask and sepia. Maybe overkill on sharpening :p

Its not how little or how much post processing is done but what the final look is. I have to agree with Marko on this one, looks more like a graphic design then a photo, I do like it though and like what you have done to it.
