I feel your pain...I broke a crown earlier this year and it cost me $1400 and my dental plan wouldn't cover it! :yell:
Btw, third crown on same tooth...Broke it a couple of years ago too.

Yup...dental work costs big $$$$$$$$$!

Btw, I'm nursing a broken metatarsal bone in my foot...been limping for 6 weeks now! Not even sure how I did it either. :headslap: Thank goodness medical at least covers it, not that they will do anything about it anyhow...like having a broken toe....but hey, at least it's not another freaking crown!

I have medical but to get my 4 wisdom teeth out have to pay upfront. 1300. Funny thing is, at 17 I went and had two wisdom teeth taken out..but they didn't take them all out and now I have to redo them and add the other two!!! WT.....?

How'd ya do it? If you don't mind me asking.

I slipped on some ice and landed on my chin in January. I knew something was up when I hit my teeth together when I fell and then I felt sand in my mouth...2 weeks later, eating a cracker and all I heard was CRACK/CRUNCH !!!!! That was pretty much it for the crown.....:headslap:
I'm just glad it wasn't another concussion really...I was in recovery from one when it happened.

Wow...I'm coming off as a bit of a clutz here!

I had an old crown and I was eating popcorn, one of those darn unpopped kernels got me.

I did break my little finger once so that it require two pins in it, I was trying to pinch my wife's butt while running up the stairs :o

My dentist actually told me once he loved those unpopped kernels...they're good for business! One got me on a molar a couple of years back. The other 2 front crowns I got when I fell off my bike in grade 8 and my teeth landed on the pavement along with my face and proceeded to slide back down the hill I was riding up. :D
