The same old. This beach is only 5 min walk away and the easiest from me to get to when I get a sudden urge. Think I may have one more to go with this..but we'll see. :p

Nice image Kat...Very thought provoking when you say you might have a second go at it because it made me think of what improvement I'd want to tackle next time if it were my shot :) The only ideas I came up with was to somehow bounce the sunlight back into the foreground via reflector (large/ gold :) ) The other idea was to hire a fleet of helicopters to fly over the two tree lines carrying a couple hundred SB900's :D Tough shot but well managed Kat:highfive:

I never used my flash tonight..next time I will!!!!!

Yep, it would be a hoot to play with a little fill flash on that last one, here's hoping you try and post the results. :)

Oooooo I like that 2nd shot much more. Great use of subdued colour even if it is just a gradient. That would never work for me!

Two very good shots Kat. My preferred is #1. Color still makes for me... but I'm getting used to light studies more and more. Your #2 is very good also.

Thanks everyone! We'll revisit the dock area again..(flash ready to be used) as soon as I get to feeling a bit better :(
