Took my new 105mm micro lens out for a test between paying gigs today and learned it's not going to me the type of lens one handholds much. These were both handheld. One tiny move forward or backward send the whole image to softworld :)

Nice! I've always been fascinated by macro shots. It gives you such a different view of the world.

Actually I'm no longer shooting with Olympus...I went over to the dark side and bought a couple of Nikons. There is no way I can get the quality of CU wildlife work I was getting with the E-3 using the 70-300 without spending a fair bit of coin on glass but I needed a high ISO machine for some of the run and gun work I do with my large commercial projects. This morning for example, I was able to shoot in a large, dimly lit factory at ISO 5000 without having to worry about placing flash heads everywhere...A real time saver for me. :)

It was a cold day...The bee was motionless till the Sun hit him and the fly may well have been dead, just forgot to fall down, he never moved!
