Hi Iguanasan, Bambi and Kat. Thanks for your nice comments. Petrolia is a small Victorian oil town in Ontario, Canada. Northern California is actually much further North than my little town! Well thanks for the welcome - jimmy:)

Hey Kat. Are you familiar with that big curve on the Red Lake road where it crosses the Wabigoon River near Vermillian Bay? In the early 80's I used to take a deap breath and haul ass through there because the river absolutely reeked. Is it still bad?

No..no smell now! Not that I've ever recalled. :) Trying to think if there is still a big curve there though..now I'm going to have to keep a mental note next time I go to Dryden! :p
