Anywho, Nice pic. I had one of these fellows trying to 'peck' the wood around my window the other day.

Well Michealaw I can see a new camera hasn't made much difference in your photos, they're still fabulous!

MA I don't believe you for a minute that Australia is boring. I just watched an Art Wolfe's Travels to the Edge program on TV. He featured Arnhemland and Kimberley. They are amazing. I've seen many fabulous places that Steve Irwin filmed in Oz too (despite the clouds of the 10 most deadly of everything). I think we tend to take our own back yards for granted.

Somewhere else is always interesting ... to visit ;)

Places like the Kimberley's though are difficult to reach and a major commitment in time and money. It's cheaper and easier to go to New Zealand or Fiji, Soloman Islands etc from here :)

There is that. You could get a production company to set you up with a helicopter and Canon to lend you some $$$ lenses. It's working for Art Wolfe...
