Michaelaw's thread in the off-topic forum got me thinking about what we are doing to our planet. this is my photographic interpretation of our future: trees will have to be encased in protective bubbles to survive. and then, where will we be?

that tree is an ancient apple tree all alone in the hay field. It has a ton of potential as a photography subject. I need to get back to it as it may not have much more time. Last time I saw it it was starting to list.
