A few days ago, I had a friend come in from out of town. That night we went out and lightened our wallets by a few pounds. Needless to say, I didnt make it home that night and ended up having to stay at a friends house. I woke up in the morning before the others woke up and stumbled out to my car. When I got out there the fog was extremely warm and dense. It was fairly unusual this time of year. Generally September is the month for this type of occurrence. I ended up driving around for a little while that morning going to a few spots I had scoped out for a day like this. One of them was NOT the golf course.

While reviewing the pictures on my computer, it made me wonder. We do not get much fog here. It occasionally happens in the spring and fall and its a must shoot when it does come because it is usually heavy. Not sure if anyone else is expecting fog, but I thought it would be fun to try an HDR shot in the fog. Not sure if it has been done yet, but I thought it might be something fun to try. It might not even work since the fog will act as a light diffuser and might kill the opportunity but I just thought I might throw that out there. Maybe someone else has already tried and wants to share?

I really like the feel of shot 1 in post one:highfive:. It's my fave of the set. I'd totally clone out or crop the branches on the right though and deepen the blacks everywhere else. This shot has great friggin mood and decent composition. I love fog shots BTW!!
