The same night I saw the flowers, the flashlight helped me find these. Thought it would make a good shot, but I thought the light was a little too harsh. Maybe it works for the subject/story though?

Hi JJ!

I like dramatic lighting here but overall this is not working for me. Basically I have no idea what I'm looking at; and I don't really see anything that's interesting enough here.

Thanks Marko. Its a plastic cup with a dozen worms in it.

This could have totally worked for a different subject. A cup of worms isn't really expected here ;) I like the set up though.

Then let those puppies free. THAT would make this shot way more interesting. The lighting is indeed too bright on the cup btw.

I like the effect, but it would be cool with the worms coming out. In fact it would meet the october challenge

if the early bird gets the worm, as the saying goes, this is a lesson for worms, that an early worm gets eaten first or (packed in a plastic container) :)

With the lid partially off, or leaning against the side, in a way that the legend "Product of Canada" is quite visible and a couple of worms visible, that would be more interesting. I much prefer this, btw to the ones you've got on flickr, mainly for its increased detail, the ones on flickr leave me trying to read what it says on the lid. And the lowered point of view works well, I think.
