Went for a small cruise this drizzly morning to get a few more spring shots and found this Great Egret by the lake near home ...

Thanks Bambi. It was a nice find this morning. They are a pretty bird and stand about 750mm (about 3/4 of a yard) tall.

I was. And no ... it's rare to see Koala's :)

Thanks AntZ. It was down where the people fish near Bullocky Rest ... but by that carpark near the main road. It was quite used to people being close.

Amazing clarity and sharpness. Both wonderful shots, for my tastes the first has a better geometric composition/proportions sense.
