Does this image have any legal right to move out of the house and claim a life for itself? I can't decide...When I took it I had high hopes but when I first saw it on the screen I sort of went "WTF was I thinking!" My guess is it's just a good idea gone wrong but I thought I'd throw it up to get some angles.

It's a high key orton effect is it?

Honestly ... seeing as so much is blown out ... I find myself accepting that as part of the intended process here and really quite like this.
The grass is a bit ugly but meh.
I don't mind it.

I see what you are saying Michael. How does it look in colour? that might add some more visual interest. I like the guy fishing. the grass I don't mind so much. I find my eye going to the dock but then not sure what to make of it once it gets there. (if that makes any sense)

Not a bad shot imo Maw, interesting tones. The blown out wooden planks at the top are major distractions for me though. Hope that helps - Marko

Agree about the blow out highlights. I wish I could see the fishing pole in his hand. The string..branch or whatever it is appears to go through him.

I know it is probably not a fishing pole *L*

I'm just wondering how it is in color as well. IMO, it's a bit busy. The blown outs..are they there pre pp? Or just with the effect?

I think a colour version would make the blown out bits definitely look worse.

I thought that was a long fishing rod he was holding with his right arm.

It is a fishing pole MA. The color version was what prompted the B/W version for an attempt at rescue. I think it's just riddled with problems is what the problem is but I thought maybe I was just being to critical. Thanks for checking it out and the comments :)

Not my style, If I like it I'll post it regular, If I'm not sure or really dislike an image but feel I may be to critical of it I'll put it here. But then again maybe you were just having fun with words :D

When I first read his words I thought "What?? How could he think that?" Then I realiased the play on words right in front of my face! ;)
