Thanks kat. Glad you enjoyed this pic. I have driven by this little shack daily for about 20 years and only today, In my mind, did I see a photo possibility ! - jimmy

I like the treatment of these shots JJJ, but I find them too soft. I like to see 'some' sharpness in most shots even if it's just a tad.

Just curious, did you mean Abittoir or Abattoir - (French for slaughterhouse)

Hey Marko, thanks for the nice reply. Personally, I prefer soft mysterious pieces. I wanted the viewer to be drawn to the vultures circling in the distance and wondering to themselves just what dark secrets this decaying place holds! I just really enjoy impressionist photography. I don't mean to toot my own horn but I just learned I was one of the winners of the Darwin Wigget's Blog, Fall Photo Contest. My first win ever! Here is a link. Thanks again - jimmy, Oh and I can hardly wait for your next podcast. :)

Your vision is the one that counts JJJ, I just offer my two cents cuz that's what i do :)

In terms of your win on Darwin's blog, that deserves a big congrats JJJ:highfive::highfive::highfive: and nice shot for that win btw.

In terms of podcasts, I hope to record a podcast tomorrow and release it this weekend or before.

Thx! - Marko

Thanks Marko. Your podcasts explaining flash photography were so informative. Right after listening, I got out my flash unit and actually managed to obtain some great exposures. Never had any luck before listening to your podcast. Thanks again Marko - jimmy :)
