Hi all,
I live in Southern Vermont and I came to this site after some searching on the web and I just wanted to say how wonderful a place you have all built here. I love the forums and today I listened to a few of the podcasts and tomorrow I will continue learning while I finish replacing a rotted floor in a shack that is attached to a greenhouse.

Working and hobbying at the same time amongst the hills of Vermont - all I can think of is...lucky me.

Thanks,
Rob

to me how good karma can travel through a series of keyboard strokes and ones and zeros over the internet when done with the requisite care to achieve such a momentus feat. Must have something to do with essence.

I've learned so much already just looking at all of the photos posted in the realm of what's possible that I get a little excited about the prospects.

I was looking at some digital bodies at ebay last month to make use of some (ahem) rather old Olympus lenses from my OM2, 24mm and 80-120 zoom from back in the days when I used to be a king. Marko - thanks for validating that buying used is a good way to go. Also, you're sense of humor and manner makes for a great podcast.

Lots of sticks around here standing these days so I think I'll play around in black and white while I await the coming snow scenes.

I've gotta head down to NY for a few days (bummer) but I'll be armed with podcasts so it will be just fine.

rt100vt's posterous - Home (http://rt100vt.posterous.com/)

I took these over the summer and they've been up for a while. If you get the sense that I like to fool around a bit then you're spot on. They're crude, I know, but it will give you an idea of where I'm at and I'll put up some of the fall shots soon although there aren't that many. (pesky day job gets in the way I find)

I tend to be a bit verbose but hopefully not intrusively so.

Best regards,
Rob
