THIS is what you call 'on it's way'!

THIS is what I call winter good and proper! It's well beyond anything I will see within 14 hours drive or 3 hours flight from my home!

Amazing.

I'm glad it still hasn't really reached Halifax yet. Looks like you guys are knee deep into it already! I should be looking for the photo ops but while I like snow for Christmas, I'm not a super fan of the cold, cold winter.

Lol it wasn't that cold out this morning actually...I did alot of this in post to give it a really chilly feel....:)
It was icy but not that cold out...mind you I was well dressed for it (2 layers pants, 4 layers of sweater, down vest, fleece jacket quilted jacket, 2 sets of gloves, a scarf and hat....) for a change and I did kill 2 sets of batteries due to cold so maybe it was???? :o
It's +1 Celsius right now

For MA sake we will have to post a photo from down east after a big snow fall. Show how the snow can go up to the eaves of your house.

I like that 2nd shot as well. You can see the water pressing against the ice from underneath. Cool.

See now ... that's a place I just couldn't live!!

I'm with Iquanasan on this one: glad it's not here yet!

I love that first picture Casil, it certainly conveys that 'winter feeling'
